The National Food Institute, Division of Nutrition, Technical University of Denmark (DTU Food) with Professor Inge Tetens as Head of Division of Nutrition has in-depth knowledge of Danish dietary patterns and their determinants through conducting the representative cross-sectional National Survey of Diet and Physical Activity.
Inge Tetens serves as Chair of the expert group on updating the official food-based dietary guidelines appointed by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration at the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries.
One PhD fellow and one postdoctoral fellow in this group will manage the development of food-based dietary guidelines targeted at preventing IHD development in the general population and test these guidelines in a randomised intervention trial.
