The Department of Public Health, Aarhus University is one of the leading Danish centres in development of epidemiological methods and holds strong expertise in population-based studies and house the Danish National Birth Cohort and Diet, Cancer and Health.
The senior researchers in this group include Professor Kim Overvad who will act as the Principal Research Manager, and Associate Professor Marianne Uhre Jakobsen.
Kim Overvad is an experienced administrator, research director and epidemiologist.
Associate Professor Marianne Uhre Jakobsen has experience in nutritional epidemiology with particular focus on substitutions of macronutrients and IHD development.
The statistical support for the data analyses within the project will be placed at Aarhus University.
Two PhD fellows and one postdoctoral fellow dealing with the Diet, Cancer and Health and European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition studies and with emphasis on overall dietary pattern and substitution of foods are placed in this group.
