Cape Ride 2013: 145 miles in 14 hours

In the early hours on Sunday 23 June 2013, a small group of enthusiastic riders from Harvard School of Public Health set off for their 2013 Cape Ride – a tradition started by a Harvard professor about 20 years ago. The ride started out from Jamaica Pond at 5:30 am and ended in Cape Cod Bay 145 miles and 14 hours later.

Among the riders were DIPI researchers Walter Willett, Eric Rimm and Monica Bertoia, all from Harvard, and Kim Overvad from Aarhus University who – together with the Danish DIPI research team - was visiting Boston in relation to a project meeting.
